Problem Note 43921: Response variable contains only zeros in OUTDESIGN= data set

DetailsAboutRate It

If the response variable in the DATA= data set is numeric and has length less than 8, then the response variable in the OUTDESIGN= data set will contain only zero (or very nearly zero) values.

To avoid the problem, create a copy of the variable with the default length of 8 and use this as the response variable.
